Bathroom safety planning checklist

• Keep the path and floor clear and well lit
• Review tub, shower, and toilet transfers with the person using the room
• Confirm installed support products are rated and mounted for their intended use
• Do not treat suction-mounted rails as installed, load-rated grab bars
• Ask whether seating or threshold changes merit professional assessment
• Keep emergency communication reachable
