Bathroom safety planning checklist

- Keep the path and floor clear and well lit
- Review tub, shower, and toilet transfers with the person using the room
- Confirm installed support products are rated and mounted for their intended use
- Do not treat suction-mounted rails as installed, load-rated grab bars
- Ask whether seating or threshold changes merit professional assessment
- Keep emergency communication reachable
